We thank the customers, old and new, for the trust and confidence they place in us. The challenges that the 2009 economy brought us all have not had an adverse effect on Siloa and our supply network. This leaves us well placed to move forward very positively in 2010.
Siloa's 2009 sales result shows a 2% decline versus 2008. We have further expanded our account list and broadened our service capability thanks to the challenges the customers have given us.
We have been challenged to present new solutions and concepts, challenged to compress schedules and challenged to enhance speed-to-market possibilities. A dynamic and highly responsive network of suppliers has allowed us to meet these challenges in multiple disciplines.
Custom designed and developed components remain Siloa’s primary focus.
Extrusion and injection blow molding categories continue to grow for Siloa. Molds are often ready in less than a month. New projects using metal packaging with both aluminum and zamac have demanded tooling ready in 3 weeks. With injection molding capabilities in three areas of Asia, we are able to make choices that best suit the customer needs.
Siloa’s standard packaging offerings continue to expand.
Our range of standard PETE and PETG bottles are a popular choice for customers with high quality packaging expectations.
The customization possibilities for our tubular glass roller packaging are infinite and continue to be a popular choice for fragrance line extensions, promotions, travel sizes and fragrance sets.
Our supply partners have continued to work hand-in-hand when called upon to secure rapid and successful execution of multiple technology solutions.
We like the simple projects too but our thanks especially go to the customers who raise the bar, who challenge us to challenge ourselves.
