2008 has been a year of growth for Siloa with the addition of several new customers and a broadening of our service capability.
We have been challenged to present new solutions and concepts, challenged to compress schedules and challenged to enhance speed-to-market possibilities. A dynamic and highly responsive network of suppliers has allowed us to meet these challenges in multiple disciplines.
Custom designed and developed components remain Siloa’s primary focus.
Extrusion and injection blow molding categories continue to grow. Molds are often ready in less than a month. New projects using metal packaging with both aluminum and zamac have demanded tooling ready in 3 weeks. With injection molding capabilities in three areas of Asia, we are able to make choices that best suit the customer needs. In 2008 we also welcomed the opportunity to develop and supply our first pressed glass components.
Siloa’s standard packaging offerings continue to expand.
Our range of standard PETE and PETG bottles are a popular choice for customers with high quality packaging expectations. We have now launched APOLLO JUMBO – two new versions of a 450ml cylindrical bottle with PETE or HDPE material possibilities.
The customization possibilities for our tubular glass roller packaging are infinite and continue to be a popular choice for fragrance line extensions, promotions, travel sizes and fragrance sets.
Our supply partners have continued to work hand-in-hand when called upon to secure rapid and successful execution of multiple technology solutions.
We like the simple projects too but our thanks especially go to the customers who raise the bar, who challenge us to challenge ourselves. We also thank our supply partners who join us in embracing those challenges and to whom our commitment remains total.
